The Humans
Because the Arctic Fox lives in the Arctic Tundra, there is little direct human interaction, but the indirect interaction is quite impacting. Because of the large amounts of carbon found in the Arctic permafrost, if global warming due to emissions and the burning of fossil fuels causes the temperature in the Tundra to rise above freezing temperatures, thus causing the Carbon to be released into the atmosphere. This released carbon would thus add to the CO2 emissions, in turn worsening global warming. This could cause many plant species of the Arctic to die, leaving no food sources for the prey of the Arctic Fox, thus causing majorly detrimental effects to the population of the Foxes. Another indirect interaction would be mass fishing, thus causing the amount of a major part of the Arctic Fox's diet to decrease and potentially disappear, also leading to the endangerment or extinction of the Arctic Fox.
